Dear Ostomate, Ostomate Supporters, Clinical Advisors and WOC Nurses,
This is Dr. Foda; specialist in general and urologic surgery. Improving Ostomy pouch drainage is my goal after having been an ostomate myself sometime ago. I am inviting you to watch an instructional video about a novel device (Sanitary Ostomy Drainage Device; SODD) on the United Ostomy Association of America website. SODD bridges the gap between ostomy pouches and toilets to make drainage easy. I am inviting the ostomates to complete the survey following the video that would assist in further development and production of the device.
